Remove the pollen stamens from the lilies before they open fully — lily pollen stains clothing and soft furnishings on contact and the mark is very difficult to remove. Keep away from pets; lilies are toxic to cats. Fill the vase with fresh water every two days. The buds will continue opening for three to four days after delivery, so the arrangement improves with time.
