Remove lily pollen stamens as soon as the buds open — the pollen stains permanently and is not water-soluble. Change the water every two days and cut all stems at an angle. Drooping heads? Re-cut stems and place in deep, cool water for 2 hours to revive.
Cloudy water? Sign of bacteria. Change immediately and clean vase with diluted bleach.
Petals browning? Remove affected flowers and ensure vase isn't in direct heat or sunlight.
