Rose Cloud - Fifty Pink and White Rose Bouquet
£109.99
Fifty Roses. One Statement.
There are bouquets, and then there is Rose Cloud. Fifty roses hand-tied together - blush pink, soft mid-pink, vivid cerise, and clean white - at a scale that simply cannot be ignored. Pink carnations fill the spaces between the rose heads, adding volume and a softness that keeps the arrangement from feeling rigid. The whole thing is wrapped in a generous lilac paper collar that fans out wide, framing the blooms like a centrepiece rather than a hand-tied bunch.
This is not a bouquet for small gestures. It is for the milestones, the moments you want to get exactly right, and the occasions that deserve to be remembered. Every stem is selected at our Northampton studio and hand-tied on the day of delivery - never packed in a box, never processed in a warehouse.
What Is in This Bouquet
- Blush pink roses - soft, pale pink heads with a gentle warmth that anchors the lighter tones in the arrangement
- Soft mid-pink roses - the mid-tone that ties the palette together, fuller in head and slightly more open than the blush stems
- Vivid cerise roses - the deepest shade in the bouquet, punchy and saturated, giving the arrangement real depth and contrast
- White roses - clean, full-headed cream white blooms that break up the pink palette and add refinement throughout
- Pink carnations - frilly-edged filler blooms in soft pink that add texture and volume between the larger rose heads
- Lilac paper wrap - a wide, full collar wrap that fans out generously, giving the bouquet a presentational scale to match its stem count
- Pink satin ribbon - hand-tied at the base to finish the bouquet cleanly
Occasions That Deserve Fifty Roses
Rose Cloud is our most generous rose bouquet. The scale, the three-tone pink palette, and the white rose accents make it suitable for occasions where a standard arrangement simply falls short.

Caring for Fifty Roses
A bouquet this large needs a little extra attention to look its best throughout the week.
- Use a large, deep vase - fifty stems need room to stand without crushing each other
- Trim 2 cm from each stem at a diagonal angle the moment the bouquet arrives
- Fill the vase with cool, fresh water and change it every two days
- Re-trim the stems each time you change the water - this keeps the cut open and drinking
- Keep the bouquet away from direct sunlight, radiators, and draughts
- Remove any leaves sitting below the waterline immediately - they cloud the water and reduce vase life
- Pink roses at this stem count typically hold between 7 and 10 days with proper care
- Carnations outlast roses - they will often continue looking well for up to 14 days

Keep Your Flowers Fresh Longer
Your beautiful Northampton flower delivery deserves expert care. Follow our local florist's proven tips to enjoy vibrant blooms for up to two weeks.
Immediate Care (First Hour)
Unpack promptly – Remove your flowers from packaging within 1 hour of delivery to prevent overheating.
Trim stems at an angle – Cut 2-3cm off each stem at a 45° angle using sharp scissors or secateurs. This increases water absorption.
Remove lower leaves – Strip any foliage that would sit below the waterline to prevent bacterial growth.
Use clean water – Fill your vase with fresh, cool tap water. Add the flower food sachet provided with your bouquet.
Daily Maintenance
Change water every 2 days – Fresh water prevents bacteria that shorten flower life. Rinse the vase thoroughly.
Re-cut stems – Trim another 1cm off stems each time you change the water.
Remove wilted blooms – Take out any dying flowers to keep the arrangement looking fresh and prevent bacteria spread.
Top up water daily – Flowers drink a lot, especially in the first few days.
Ideal Placement
Cool location – Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, radiators, and heating vents. Cooler temperatures (16-18°C) extend vase life.
Avoid fruit bowls – Ripening fruit releases ethylene gas which causes flowers to age faster.
Skip draughty spots – Avoid windowsills and doorways where temperature fluctuates.
Special Flower Types
Roses – Remove guard petals (outer petals) if damaged. Roses can last 7-12 days with proper care.
Lilies – Remove orange pollen stamens to prevent staining and extend bloom life. Lilies can last up to 2 weeks.
Tulips – These continue growing in the vase. Use less water (5-7cm) and keep very cool.
Sunflowers – Change water frequently as stems can become slimy. These bold blooms last 7-10 days.
Chrysanthemums – Hardy flowers that can last 2-3 weeks. Break stems rather than cutting for best results.
Troubleshooting
Drooping heads? Re-cut stems and place in deep, cool water for 2 hours to revive.
Cloudy water? Sign of bacteria. Change immediately and clean vase with diluted bleach.
Petals browning? Remove affected flowers and ensure vase isn't in direct heat or sunlight.
Expert Tip from Your Local Northampton Florist
Add a drop of bleach or vodka to your vase water (1 teaspoon per litre) as a natural antibacterial. This simple trick can add 3-4 extra days to your flower's vase life. At Blossom Surprise, we've been caring for Northampton's flowers since day one – these techniques really work!
