How We Deliver Your Flowers

Blossom Surprise offers two ways to get your flowers: local same-day hand delivery across Northampton and Milton Keynes, and next-day tracked courier delivery to anywhere on the UK mainland. Both services run seven days a week.

Every bouquet is hand-tied fresh at our Northampton studio on the day of your order. Nothing sits on a shelf. Nothing is mass-produced.

Same-Day Local Delivery

Where We Deliver

We deliver by hand to all NN postcodes and Milton Keynes MK postcodes. This covers Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering, Corby, Daventry, Towcester, Brackley, Rushden, Oundle, Thrapston, Market Harborough, and all surrounding villages.

Cut-Off Time

Order by 5:30 PM for same-day delivery. This applies Monday to Sunday, every day of the year including Bank Holidays, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. There are no exceptions to the 5:30 PM rule.

Delivery Window

We deliver between 7:30 AM and 8:30 PM on the same day. We cannot guarantee a specific time within that window, but a late-afternoon order placed before 5:30 PM can still arrive the same evening.

Delivery Pricing

Same-day delivery pricing is calculated at checkout based on distance from our Northampton studio. Free delivery is available on selected bouquets and is shown on individual product pages. There is no same-day surcharge.

Free 24/7 Click and Collect

Our Northampton shop is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. No appointment needed. Walk in at any time and collect your bouquet free of charge.

Click and collect is always free, regardless of order size or time of day. If you miss the 5:30 PM same-day delivery cut-off, placing a click and collect order is the immediate alternative. Order at 8 PM, collect the same evening.

UK Next-Day Delivery

We send flowers to all UK mainland postcodes via overnight tracked courier (DPD or UPS). Your bouquet is hand-arranged in Northampton and dispatched the same evening for delivery the following morning.

Cut-Off Time

Order by 3:00 PM Monday to Friday for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 3 PM dispatch the following working day.

Delivery Window

Courier deliveries typically arrive between 7 AM and 1 PM. You will receive tracking notifications at dispatch and during delivery.

Pricing

• Monday to Friday delivery: Free with no minimum order
• Friday orders (placed by 3 PM): Delivered Saturday. Charge: £4.50
• Saturday orders: Delivered Sunday. Charge: £4.50

Advance Delivery

You can select a specific future delivery date at checkout. Plan ahead for birthdays, anniversaries, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, or any occasion you want to get right. There is no limit on how far ahead you can order.

Bank Holidays

Bank holidays are treated as non-working days for courier dispatch. If your delivery falls around a bank holiday, select your preferred date using the date-picker at checkout.

Funeral Flower Delivery

We deliver funeral tributes across all NN postcodes, including directly to Northampton funeral directors and to Northampton Crematorium, Far Cotton (NN4).

For standard tributes such as wreaths and posies, we ask for 24 hours' notice where possible. For coffin sprays, letter tributes, or bespoke designs, 48 to 72 hours is preferred. For urgent same-day funeral flowers, contact us directly and we will advise on what is possible.

When ordering, include the deceased's name, the funeral director's name and address, and the service date and time in the delivery notes.

Do you deliver to Milton Keynes?

Yes. All MK postcodes are within our same-day local delivery area. Order by 5:30 PM.

Do you deliver to Kettering, Corby, or Wellingborough?

Yes. Kettering (NN14, NN15, NN16), Corby (NN17, NN18), and Wellingborough (NN8, NN9, NN10, NN29) are all within our same-day delivery area. Order by 5:30 PM.

Can I choose a specific delivery date?

Yes. Use the date-picker at checkout to select any future date for UK courier delivery. Ideal for planning ahead for birthdays, anniversaries, or Mother's Day.

Is click and collect really free?

Yes. Click and collect is always free, with no minimum order and no handling charge. Our shop is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

Can I add a message to my delivery?

Yes. Add a personalised message at checkout at no extra cost. There is no character limit.

Are flowers delivered in a box?

On sameday delivery - No, Every bouquet is hand-tied and beautifully wrapped by our florists in Northampton on the day of delivery.
